Fish Float Along

This artwork was inspired by my love of the concept of etherealism. I wanted to create a feeling of floating and used reference images of kimonos to help create that feeling in the fabric of the character. The viewer follows the eyes of the character, and the lines of glowing fish as well. The positioning of the character comparatively is made to create a huge, overwhelming space.
I wanted to invoke a sense of awe and almost the feeling of thinking of space, and how vast it is.
